This contract position offers a full-time schedule, with workdays spanning 35-37.5 hours per week and the opportunity to serve students across elementary, middle, and high school campuses. Key Qualifications:

  • Active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) is required
  • Current Illinois state COTA licensure
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is highly preferred
  • Flexibility and adaptability to travel between multiple campuses within the district
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Completion of required fingerprint-based background check prior to start
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy assistance to a diverse caseload
  • Support students across various age groups (Pre-K–22) to improve academic participation, motor skills, and daily functioning
  • Collaborate closely with OTs, educators, and other related service personnel to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program and state guidelines
  • Adapt to varying school schedules and transitions throughout the academic year
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive, student-centered school culture
