This assignment involves working within a designated cluster of 6-7 schools (with students aged 3-21), making each day unique and engaging. You’ll be at the forefront of student development, conducting evaluations, attending ARDs, and delivering direct therapies—all while benefitting from the chance to explore new professional environments and network with award-winning educators.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas OT licensure required
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Open to highly qualified COTAs with multiple years of school experience
  • Able to fulfill full-time schedule (35 hours/week)
  • District will not consider previous employees
  • Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads (approximately 70, with 30-40 students for direct service)
  • Conduct evaluations, attend ARDs, and provide treatment services
  • Complete documentation using SHARES and Onward software, as well as excel IEP logs
  • Rotate between assigned schools, all within a specific ZIP code zone
