Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students in a dynamic school setting. This contract position spans the academic year, from August 21, 2025, to June 14, 2026, and offers the chance to positively influence an average caseload of 40 students, from preK to 12th grade and beyond. You’ll collaborate across 8 different school sites, working 32.5 hours per week in a welcoming, professional environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
  • Experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred
  • Ability to support students across a broad age and ability range, from preK to 12+
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in collaborating with both educational staff and families
  • Flexible, resourceful mindset and effective time management across multiple sites
  • Understanding of IEPs and the implementation of therapy goals in school environments
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist in line with IEP goals
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, adapting strategies for individual needs
  • Travel between 8 school sites, ensuring comprehensive support for students and staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Communicate effectively with educators, families, and team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning and reporting
