Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid COTA certification and licensure in Connecticut
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills with students, educators, and families
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to adapt to dynamic classroom environments
  • Solid understanding of IEPs, therapy documentation, and related best practices
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group occupational therapy sessions as outlined in students’ IEPs
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and other school staff to develop effective treatment plans
  • Assist students in developing functional skills for classroom participation, including fine motor, sensory, and adaptive abilities
  • Monitor and report on student progress, documenting outcomes and communicating results to the educational team
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging school culture
