Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active COTA license issued by the state of Maryland
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred (but not required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Support IEP implementation, documentation, and progress monitoring for caseload students
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to address student needs
  • Provide interventions and strategies tailored for general and individual student development
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a positive learning environment
  • This contract assignment offers the stability of a W2 role with weekly pay and the possibility of benefits if working 30 hours or more per week.
