About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide virtual therapy services to K–12 students across Michigan for the upcoming school year. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational success while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students develop the skills needed to participate effectively in educational activities and can confidently deliver services through a teletherapy platform.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals.
  • Provide direct teletherapy services to students in accordance with district and state guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding occupational therapy services.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Utilize teletherapy technology effectively to engage students and support learning outcomes.
  • Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • NBCOT certification preferred.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
