Make a meaningful impact in education as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers a chance to utilize your specialized skills in a dynamic school environment and foster student growth and independence. You'll be working a Monday through Friday schedule, averaging between 32 and 37.5 hours per week, with the academic year running from August 2026 through June 2027.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Active licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
  • Passion for supporting student success and engagement
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and support staff to develop effective intervention plans
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Assist in screenings, evaluations, and assessments as needed
  • Modify classroom environments and recommend adaptive equipment to support student participation
  • Communicate with families and staff regarding student progress and therapy goals
