An exciting opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract role spans from August 2026 through June 2027, offering the chance to work closely with K-12 students and collaborate with dedicated educational professionals.

In this position, you will work Monday to Friday, between 32 and 37.5 hours each week. Your primary focus will be supporting students of various ages and abilities within a dynamic school environment, helping them develop skills needed for academic, social, and daily success. Qualifications:

  • Active licensure or eligibility as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in New Hampshire.
  • Previous experience in a school-based role is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of IEP documentation and implementation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and enthusiastic about supporting K-12 learners.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
  • Support the development of fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills essential for classroom participation.
  • Document student progress and contribute to IEP goal setting and progress reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and share insights for best supporting student growth.
