Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active California COTA license.
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment required.
  • Skilled in serving K-12 student populations.
  • Ability to travel between sites.

  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, and school staff to implement therapy strategies and promote student engagement.
  • Document interventions, maintain accurate records, and communicate progress to supervisory staff and families.
  • Adapt therapy interventions to meet a variety of student needs across diverse school sites, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and progress review sessions.
