In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll oversee a varied caseload (primarily ages 3-21) within a supportive district zone—never more than 6-7 schools, with careful consideration for your commute. You’ll gain real experience in ARD meetings, evaluations, and consulting/servicing a manageable group of students. Qualifications:

  • Active TX OT licensure required
  • Successful state fingerprinting/background check
  • Significant school-based or pediatric OT experience strongly preferred; Experienced COTAs welcome to apply
  • Previous employment with this district or prior termination from any district will prevent hiring (affidavit required)
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evaluation and treatment for a caseload targeting around 70 students, with 30-40 direct service caseload on a rotating basis
  • Participate in ARD meetings, document in SHARES/Onward and IEP Excel logs
  • Provide consultative services and lead OT functions (no COTA support)
  • Travel between 6-7 assigned schools within a defined area; use the district office as your home base
