This assignment places you in both an elementary and a middle school environment—providing an enriching chance to expand your skillset. With a total of 36 IEPs at the elementary level and 18 at the middle school (where not all students require weekly sessions), you’ll broaden your caseload management skills. You’ll also benefit from 1.5 days each week of COTA support, giving you the chance to collaborate and focus on quality service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Valid OT licensure in Washington State
  • Experience in educational or school-based settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload across different ages
  • Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat students on IEPs in both elementary and middle school settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families
  • Design and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Work with COTA support effectively
