Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Previous school-based OT experience preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and pediatric therapy best practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability for working in varied school locations
  • Solid documentation and organizational abilities
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in multiple school settings
  • Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEP goals, and track progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design effective support plans
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district protocols
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
  • Adapt interventions to diverse learning needs within a school context
