Make a meaningful impact on students’ growth and independence by providing specialized therapy services for the upcoming 26/27 school year in a supportive school community near Wilmington, DE. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist passionate about collaborating with educators and families to help students thrive. The commitment spans approximately August 24 to June 15, with a flexible schedule of 1–3 days per week depending on enrollment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Delaware OT certification (required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, including writing thorough evaluations and participating in IEP meetings
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with OT practices in school, home health, and healthcare environments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evaluations for students
  • Review and update 60-day IEPs, document progress, and establish achievable benchmarks
  • Engage in IEP meetings, collaborating with staff, students, and families to develop effective intervention plans
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to support students’ academic and functional achievements
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies
