Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
  • Active California OT licensure
  • Experience or familiarity with OT in school-based/educational settings
  • Solid grasp of education-related terminology, standardized assessments, and the special education process
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Knowledge of K-12 student needs and caseload variability
  • Itinerant flexibility (availability to serve more than one site)
  • Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide direct OT services for diverse K-12 students
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP and special education processes
  • Travel between assigned schools (based on assignment)
  • Document services and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
