Step into an impactful school-based role where your occupational therapy expertise will help students thrive across a range of grade levels. Full-time contract positions are available for on-site Occupational Therapists in the San Fernando Valley. Assignments may include itinerant work, serving multiple schools within a dynamic educational environment.

You’ll work closely with K-12 students, collaborating with education professionals to deliver high-quality therapy and contribute to the special education process. Successful candidates will have a solid grounding in school-based OT and strong familiarity with educational terminology, standardized assessments, and California Special Education guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of California (required)
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
  • Prior experience in schools or educational settings preferred
  • Knowledge of the special education process and familiarity with IEPs
  • Understanding of standardized assessments for pediatric/school populations
  • Able to work independently and manage varying caseloads across assignments
  • No COTA positions available
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 with diverse needs
  • Complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and IEPs
  • Conduct therapy sessions on-site at assigned school(s), sometimes itinerantly
  • Utilize current best practices and comply with California public school guidelines
