Schedule/Hours:

  • 4x10 hour days: Monday through Thursday
  • No weekend or holiday shifts
  • Role Highlights:
    Step into a dynamic hospital setting, providing care for a variety of orthopedic diagnoses, including hands, elbows, and shoulders. You’ll primarily focus on acute inpatient, acute rehab, transitional care, and outpatient orthopedics, treating approximately 12 patients per day. With a supportive leadership team, rehab aides, and a dedicated orientation program, this assignment will enhance your clinical acumen while allowing you to collaborate with skilled professionals.

    Key Qualifications:

  • Active Oregon Occupational Therapy license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong background in orthopedic therapy (acute inpatient, rehab, transitional, and outpatient)
  • Experience with hands, elbows, and shoulders highly preferred
  • Familiarity with ReDoc documentation (outpatient) and Meditech (acute) a plus
  • Lymphedema training highly desirable
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assess and implement comprehensive therapy plans for orthopedic and neurological conditions (e.g., CVA, MS, head injury)
  • Collaborate with rehab aides and other multidisciplinary team members
  • Document patient progress and outcomes thoroughly
  • Adapt therapy interventions to meet individualized patient needs
