Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children as a full-time Occupational Therapist working with the birth to age 5 population. This onsite, contract position offers an exceptional opportunity to collaborate closely with students, educators, and families in a supportive school environment near Winston, OR.

Your background in school-based occupational therapy will shine as you assess, plan, and implement interventions for early childhood development. You’ll support children in reaching developmental milestones, foster independence, and use your expertise to create individualized strategies that help each student thrive.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L)
  • Previous experience in a school or early childhood setting, serving birth to age 5
  • Strong understanding of pediatric development and sensory integration
  • Ability to develop and document Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and a passion for supporting young learners
  • Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths
  • Create and carry out individualized therapy plans within the classroom and one-on-one
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor progress and update documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide professional recommendations and adapt interventions to maximize student success
  • Educate staff and families on techniques and program implementation
  • Compensation for this position ranges from $42 to $55 per hour, reflecting experience and expertise.
