This full-time contract assignment offers an outstanding opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work within a collaborative and innovative setting from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027. You’ll enjoy working at a single elementary school site, allowing you to build strong, impactful relationships with your students and colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, valid Occupational Therapy licensure in the state
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of the needs of elementary students
  • Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and collaborate with other education professionals
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive, student-centered environment
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine OT needs and provide targeted therapy in both individual and small group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs and support accommodations
  • Design therapeutic activities tailored to address fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills within the classroom
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Offer guidance and training to school personnel regarding strategies that facilitate student success
  • This role is full-time, with a consistent 40-hour workweek, providing you with the unique chance to integrate into the school’s community across the academic year and make a lasting impact.
