Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid state license for Occupational Therapy, ready and current
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card must be presented
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Comfort and enthusiasm working with diverse student populations from PreK through 8th grade
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Capable of managing a varied caseload with professionalism and empathy
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with established IEPs and educational goals
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to comprehensive student plans
  • Document assessments, progress, and outcomes efficiently to maintain compliance with school and state requirements
  • Engage creatively to develop and adapt activities, ensuring inclusive learning and participation for each student
  • Collaborate closely with educators and parents to foster a supportive and effective learning environment
