Make a significant impact supporting students’ growth and development as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a part-time contract role near the Bay Area. This position, available for the 2026–2027 school year, offers the unique opportunity to provide specialized OT services in a supportive educational environment, working with children across a range of needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
  • Previous experience in a school setting working with pediatric populations strongly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and skilled in creating individualized interventions
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT assessments and services to students based on their individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Develop creative strategies and modifications to enhance student participation and achievement
  • Document progress and maintain clear communication with educational teams and caregivers
  • Consult with staff and parents to support best practices for student development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and continued professional learning opportunities
  • This contract position enables you to contribute as a vital part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering growth for students with diverse abilities. The schedule runs from mid-August through early June, and the setting within a local school ensures an engaging, community-focused atmosphere.
