Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the Palo Alto, CA area, supporting K-12 students across 2-3 sites for the 2026-2027 school year. With a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, you'll play a vital role in enhancing student success, collaborating with educators, and making a meaningful impact from August 10, 2026, to June 4, 2027.

Bring your expertise and warmth to a setting where most OTs manage caseloads of 35-40 students. You'll work within established IEP systems such as Siras and AbleSpace, and have the chance to work closely with students from diverse backgrounds, offering personalized support to help them reach their goals.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT license in California (or eligibility by start date)
  • Prior school-based experience or strong pediatric background preferred
  • Familiarity with Siras or AbleSpace IEP systems is highly valued
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively navigate multiple school sites
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 35-40 K-12 students
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver OT services for students, implementing individualized treatment strategies
  • Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation using Siras/AbleSpace platforms
  • Travel between 2-3 school locations as assigned
  • Consult with teachers and families on strategies for classroom and home support
  • Advocate for student inclusion and participate in ongoing professional development
