Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students through occupational therapy services in a dynamic school environment. This role serves the south end of the county and impacts students’ success and daily functioning during the 2026–2027 academic year.

Two positions are available, both offering a full-time schedule and the chance to work closely with educational professionals and families to foster student growth. Start making a difference on August 10th, 2026, with the school year concluding June 17th, 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Current, valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Maryland
  • Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Strong collaborative skills to partner with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing student needs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Manage caseload across designated schools on the south end of the county
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and families to facilitate student participation and access to educational environments
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress, maintain records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support students’ physical, social, and academic development
