Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Recent experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations, writing IEP goals, and delivering individualized therapy
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of current therapy techniques and assistive technology
  • Ability to adapt services to diverse student needs and work with various grade levels
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to determine fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills impacting learning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ unique needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates to the team
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in both group and one-on-one formats
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies across school environments
  • Maintain detailed documentation in line with district, state, and federal requirements
