Step into a vital role supporting students’ growth and achievement as a contracted Occupational Therapist. This opportunity offers you a chance to have a direct impact on high school students by providing expert care and guidance during an upcoming maternity leave. Working onsite across four high schools, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators and contribute to positive student outcomes.

This assignment is set to begin September 2, 2026, and continue through February 1, 2027, for a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Providing coverage during a maternity leave ensures continuity of critical services students rely on.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapy license (must be attached with resume for consideration)
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Comfortable providing maternity leave coverage
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Familiarity with high school caseloads and adolescent developmental needs
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services onsite to students across four high schools
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with educators, administration, and families
  • Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate documentation, and track student progress
  • Adjust approaches as needed and offer support to ensure students benefit from their educational environment
