Step into an impactful role supporting students’ occupational needs for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity lets you deliver essential school-based OT services across six campuses near Colorado Springs in a district committed to a “people first” approach for both staff and students.

Your week will be structured around a 40-hour schedule, incorporating both direct therapy and vital indirect services. You’ll manage a diverse, itinerant caseload, working with individualized goals and full-scope service delivery in alignment with IEP minutes (about .48 minutes on existing caseloads). This assignment is designed as a contract-to-permanent placement, offering the chance to build meaningful connections and consider a long-term professional home.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current OT license (or eligibility) for Colorado
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and providing services across multiple campuses
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in an itinerant model across six campuses
  • Assess and evaluate students to develop targeted intervention plans
  • Document services and progress in accordance with IEP requirements and district standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student supports
  • Adapt service delivery to meet evolving district needs, including openness to discussions about teletherapy staffing on 7/24/2026
  • Be part of a supportive, engaged staff of 500+ educators and specialists serving a diverse student body of 3,500. Interviews are being scheduled for Monday (7/20) and Tuesday (7/21).
