We partner with school districts to place dedicated COTAs in supportive educational environments. Whether you're an experienced professional or a recent graduate, we provide the guidance and resources you need to thrive throughout the school year.
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve students' fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills.
Document student progress, maintain service logs, and complete required documentation accurately and on time.
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success.
Prepare therapy materials and assist with classroom-based interventions and accommodations.
Support the implementation of IEP goals and participate in team meetings as appropriate.
Maintain compliance with school district, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or certification in the state of practice.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
School-based or pediatric experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Ability to work independently while receiving supervision from a licensed Occupational Therapist.
