Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active COTA certification in Connecticut
  • Demonstrated recent experience working within school settings (K-12)
  • Proven comprehensive clinical skills in occupational therapy
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess student needs and document progress with clarity and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with educators to develop interventions that support academic and functional skills within the classroom
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of students’ goals
  • Adapt materials and modify classroom activities to help students access curriculum and improve engagement
