Step into a rewarding full-time role supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a dynamic school-based setting. Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited COTA program and current certification/licensure as required by the state
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based occupational therapy, especially with elementary-age children
  • Ability to develop and implement therapeutic activities targeting fine motor, sensory regulation, and executive functioning
  • Understanding of positive behavioral interventions and supports in an educational environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability and creativity to tailor strategies for individual student needs
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Address behavioral challenges and academic barriers through evidence-based OT interventions
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment
  • Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Support students in building daily living, motor, and social-emotional skills essential for classroom success
