Position Highlights:

  • Enjoy the flexibility of choosing either a full-time schedule or a 0.6 FTE (approximately 22.5 hours per week), tailoring your work-life balance to suit your needs.
  • Collaborate with experienced occupational therapists and other educational professionals in a supportive team setting.
  • Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in accordance with educational plans.
  • Develop and adapt activities to help students master essential life and academic skills, promoting independence and growth.
  • Document progress, contribute observations to assessment reports, and actively participate in IEP meetings as needed.
  • Foster positive, encouraging relationships with students, staff, and families to promote inclusive participation across school settings.
  • Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Valid COTA certification.
  • Experience working in a school environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working collaboratively.
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse student abilities and backgrounds.
