This assignment focuses on early intervention, providing essential therapy for children aged 3-5 years in various early childhood centers and classrooms. You’ll work a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, traveling between multiple locations to make a positive impact on young students’ development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania COTA license required
  • Experience in pediatric, educational, or early intervention settings is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with COTA best practices within school environments
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between assigned centers
  • Candidates must complete Pennsylvania credentialing, including TB testing and fingerprinting
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions for preschool-aged children
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and families to implement treatment plans
  • Monitor progress, update documentation, and contribute to goal planning
  • Serve several early childhood centers/classrooms, providing services where needed
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing supervision (district supervision and support provided for COTAs)
  • Engage in regular communication with parents/caregivers regarding student progress and recommendations
