Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state
  • Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Expertise in individualized treatment planning and therapeutic interventions for K-5 students
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
  • Understanding of IEP goals and compliance requirements
  • Effective time management with ability to maintain clear documentation
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, intervention, and ongoing treatment for K-5 students in a school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEPs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to support classroom participation and student independence
  • Monitor student progress and adjust techniques as needed for optimal development
  • Participate in student meetings, parent conferences, and IEP review sessions
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate updates to relevant team members
  • Offer support and guidance through consultation with educational staff
  • Foster an inclusive, positive environment that encourages student growth and learning
  • This role features a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, 8:15 am-2:20 pm, with early release Wednesdays for students, allowing for additional planning or collaboration time.
