Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active license to practice Occupational Therapy in California
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in schools or pediatric settings
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to students' unique needs
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical practices
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver individualized OT services to students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
  • Develop and implement intervention plans as part of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and create inclusive classroom environments
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with school policies and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
