Applicants will need active Occupational Therapist credentials for Georgia and strong experience working with diverse age groups in a school environment. This role centers on the supervision of COTAs, so prior leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience is highly desired.

Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license or certification in Georgia
  • Background in school-based OT, supporting K-12 students
  • Experience or interest in supervising and collaborating with COTAs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted OT services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
  • Oversee and support COTAs, ensuring compliance and excellence in care
  • Develop intervention strategies, document progress, and participate in team meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
  • Design engaging and effective therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
