Key Qualifications:

  • Current Minnesota Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively assess student needs and create targeted intervention plans
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Collaborative spirit for working alongside teachers, support staff, and families
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to elementary students, focusing on enhancing participation in school routines and activities
  • Complete assessments and evaluations to determine student needs, strengths, and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement treatment goals aligned with IEPs and educational objectives
  • Consult with teachers and school teams to integrate practical strategies into classroom settings
  • Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and compliance with district guidelines
  • Advocate for students’ access, independence, and success in the learning environment
