This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Occupational Therapists seeking a contract position within a school-based setting near Columbia, SC. Enjoy a consistent schedule, working 37.5 hours per week across 2-3 school sites from July 27, 2026, through May 26, 2027. You’ll make a difference in the lives of students, serving a caseload of approximately 45-50 students across PreK–12th grade.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Demonstrated experience working in educational settings, home health, or healthcare environments
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt interventions based on individual student needs
  • Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage documentation and scheduling
  • Compassion, patience, and dedication to advancing student wellbeing
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students’ individual education programs (IEPs)
  • Assess students’ abilities and develop targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure continuity of services and successful outcomes
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Travel between 2-3 local school sites while effectively managing your weekly caseload
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
