You’ll work closely with staff, students, and families to develop and implement effective therapy programs that foster growth and greater independence.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • School-based OT experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
  • Adaptable and creative approach to problem-solving within dynamic school settings
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and write clear, actionable reports
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support students’ daily participation and academic achievement
  • Develop and implement activities to enhance students’ functional skills in self-care, classroom participation, and social interaction
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, evaluations, and progress notes in accordance with state and district requirements
