Step into a rewarding role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings in the Long Beach, CA area. This contract opportunity is full-time at 40 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and extending through 6/5/26. You'll manage a caseload of 49 students, working across three different campuses to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience in a school-based setting required
  • Comfortable working with elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Ability to manage a dynamic caseload across multiple locations
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse range of students, adjusting interventions to meet individual needs
  • Evaluate and re-evaluate students to develop effective treatment plans that promote academic success and independence
  • Travel between three school sites to maintain continuity of care and therapeutic supports
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate OT goals into each student’s educational plan
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation per district and professional standards
  • Provide input for Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist with progress reporting
