This position is a 0.8 FTE role, scheduled Monday through Thursday, with hours varying from as early as 7:30 am to as late as 3:30 pm, dependent on assigned school sites each day. You’ll begin with orientation on August 27th, and help welcome students back on September 2nd. Your energy, adaptability, and commitment to student success will be highly valued throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
  • Prior experience working in schools is strongly preferred
  • Flexibility to travel between schools as needed, adjusting to varied schedules
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Passion for supporting children and teens in achieving their educational and functional goals
  • Responsibilities:

  • Support licensed Occupational Therapists in delivering quality interventions to students
  • Implement treatment plans and activities under OT guidance, tailoring approaches to individual student needs
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and school staff to foster inclusive learning environments
  • Travel between assigned schools as part of your weekly rotation
