Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Washington COTA license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatrics preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and school-based documentation
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Passion for supporting diverse learners
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Support students’ participation in classroom activities by addressing sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skills
  • Document student progress and maintain updated records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with staff, families, and the therapy team to ensure coordinated care
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning as requested
