Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license (COTA or OT), verifiable via the Michigan LARA system
  • Demonstrated school experience, particularly working with students with disabilities

  • Exceptional communication and organization skills to collaborate with educators and families
  • Commitment to fostering inclusion and support for all learners
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students as indicated in their educational plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement customized interventions
  • Assess students’ needs, monitor progress, and document outcomes, adhering to school and state guidelines
  • Provide resources and strategies to enhance classroom participation and student success
  • Facilitate small group and individual therapy sessions, always prioritizing student safety and well-being
