Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid COTA certification and licensure in the state
  • Experience in a school-based setting working with K-12 students preferred
  • Knowledge of IEPs and individualized student plans
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of an educational team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support students with varying needs
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students across all grade levels, supporting their physical, sensory, and motor skill development
  • Implement and document therapy sessions and progress as outlined in IEPs under the supervision of a licensed OT
  • Adapt activities and materials to enhance student participation and success in classroom routines
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to foster an inclusive, accessible learning environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and assist with assessments and data collection as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress effectively
  • This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) serving a diverse K-12 caseload. The supportive school-based setting provides professional growth and the satisfaction that comes from helping students reach important milestones.
