Qualifications:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) state licensure
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Understanding of IEPs, educational settings, and pediatric caseloads
  • Skilled in documentation and progress tracking
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable utilizing Zoom for interviews and virtual meetings
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy support to K-12 students under a licensed Occupational Therapist’s supervision
  • Support student development in fine motor, sensory-motor, self-help, and adaptive skills
  • Assist in preparing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document and report on student progress and goals
  • Communicate with families, teachers, and related services to ensure coordinated care
  • Adapt to multiple school sites and grade levels as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and school policies
