Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – School-Based
Location: San Jose, CA
Setting: Elementary & Middle School
Schedule: 3 Days/Week
Pay: $38–$45/hour
Position: Part-Time
ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a supportive school team in San Jose, CA. This part-time position will support students across elementary and middle school settings while working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Position Details:
3 days per week
Elementary and middle school students
School-based setting
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT
Support students with fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, and functional skills
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
Assist with implementing students’ IEP goals and therapy plans
Document student progress and services provided
Qualifications:
Active California COTA license/credentials
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for supporting students and helping them succeed in the school environment
