Desired Qualifications:

  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Skilled in delivering OT support to diverse learners and needs
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs
  • Complete all required OT-specific documentation for present levels, progress reports, and development of measurable OT goals
  • Accurately manage Medicaid billing paperwork in compliance with school and state policies
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to foster optimal learning environments
  • Engage families and teachers in facilitating student successes and generalizing skills across settings
