Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid OT (Occupational Therapist) licensure; seasoned COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) candidates may also be considered
  • Strong background working within a school setting, preferably with K-12 students, with emphasis on PreK
  • Experience supporting students who utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
  • Proficiency or familiarity with interventions for students on the autism spectrum (ASD)
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and adaptability
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to a primarily PreK caseload, spanning K-12 as needed
  • Collaborate with education staff to adapt activities for students’ developmental needs
  • Design and implement intervention plans, including support for students with AAC devices and autism spectrum disorders
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as required
