What We’re Looking For:

  • Active Texas OT license (no former Lamar district employees, please)
  • At least several years of pediatric or school-based OT/COTA experience
  • Willingness to travel between 6-7 schools within an assigned area
  • Capable of managing caseloads (consult and direct services) for ages 3-21
  • Strong skills in using SHARES/Onward or similar school documentation systems
  • Comfort working independently—no COTA support
  • Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Attending ARD meetings
  • Providing direct occupational therapy services and consultative support (30-40 students for direct, remainder consult)
  • Documenting via SHARES and Excel logs for IEP compliance
  • Collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams
