Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensing as an OT in Colorado
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students, staff, and parents
  • Proficiency in assessing student needs and developing effective, individualized intervention plans
  • Ability to manage caseloads, maintain thorough documentation, and utilize technology for record-keeping
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to identify strengths and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies as part of IEP teams
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services in group and one-on-one formats
  • Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate OT goals into classroom activities
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with school district and regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor and report students’ progress toward goal achievement and participate in IEP meetings
  • Serve as an educational resource on occupational therapy services and advocate for student needs
