This travel position goes beyond traditional roles. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, broaden your clinical toolkit through exposure to a wide range of age groups (3–21 years), and contribute meaningfully by conducting evaluations, attending ARD meetings, and directly impacting student outcomes. Requirements:

  • Fully licensed Occupational Therapist in Texas (active status)
  • Strong background in school-based OT (COTAs with substantial experience also considered)
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site, full time (35 hours/week)
  • Experience conducting evaluations and participating in ARDs
  • Comfortable working independently with a caseload of up to 70 (majority consult, 30–40 students receiving direct services)
  • Must pass district fingerprint screening
  • District will not consider any former employees
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT services to students aged 3–21 across assigned schools within one zone
  • Manage documentation using SHARES, Onward, and Excel
  • Lead all OT functions without COTA support
  • Coordinate schedules for both direct and consult services
