Qualifications:

  • Valid OT licensure for South Carolina (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric occupational therapy role preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to adapt and organize therapy according to student needs
  • Experience or interest in elementary-aged children (grades 1-5) is a plus
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services (5.5 hours per week) to 12 students in grades 1-5
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational staff
  • Provide individualized interventions to enhance students’ participation in school activities
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and families
