Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • Float between locations, including Herrin, Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, and St. Joseph Memorial Hospital
  • Flexibility on shift as needed
  • Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license
  • CPR certification (BLS required for all hospital settings)
  • Additional credentials based on assignment: May include ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS (see hospital/unit requirements)
  • Adaptability to float between multiple facilities
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a hospital-based therapy environment preferred
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions for a diverse patient population
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver the highest standard of care
  • Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes efficiently
  • Flexibly adapt to unique workflows and methods across hospital sites
